  • ·     The use of a range of bright colours on the page with some elements of dark black colours. This should represent a club or festival environment and is conventional for dance music websites. 
  • ·     The use of a bold font in a large size. 
  • ·     Minimalist home page. 
  • ·     Large images.
  • ·     Include options for tour dates, merchandise, music (YouTube, Spotify etc.), and fan information on the bad vibe video. This will be the menu bar. 
  • ·     Social media feed.

Peligro - Giggs ft. Dave - Music Video Music Video Inspiration My prior knowledge of rap music videos subconsciously led to certain subconscious decisions being made throughout the production phase. Two videos which I found to be of inspiration were Isle of Arran by Loyle Carner and Man Don't Care by Jme ft. Giggs. The use of mine-en-scene in the JME video was replicated to an extent within our video which constructs intertextuality. The almost cliche use of props is common within rap videos and acts in correspondence to the dialogue. While in the Carner video I found the tone of the character and how he uses direct gaze to show his power and construct a state of apathy. A representation of some form of character which the audience aligns with and have an understanding of this person’s values and actions.  A song. Multiple locations must be used to create some form of narrative. Consider the use of lighting and what effect this has on emotions. Consider camera angle, movement, height and zoom when framing locations and actions and what will be most effective. Use image distortion or some form of image manipulation to good effect. Consider all aspects of mise-en-scene to depth using props, costume and reference character blocking. Use an array of editing techniques especially focusing on shot length and the composition of shots. Use establishing shots so audiences can get an understanding of character, locations and emotions that this may put across. “There is no such thing as an original text”  The concept of an original text is one of great ambiguity and discussion, in the Modern day there are a multitude of laws and regulations defining what categorises as an original text. Yet the argument that nothing can be classed as original text is still one of eligibility as ones actions could be proclaimed to be a manifestation of past occurrences and events.  Throughout a lifetime humans experience a great amount of media texts and it could be argued that this shapes our future and our outlook on life. Through a wide exposure to media texts and opinions subjective viewpoints are natural, therefore any text produced is more a physical representation of past events rather than an exhibition of creative human behaviour and thought.
